Scoped Tactical Carbine (DMR/RECCE)
This is a tactical action event designed for scoped carbines and focusing on targets at distances from 100-600 yards thus requiring the use of magnified optics. There are two classes: Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) and Reconnaissance Combat Carbine (RECCE). The RECCE class allows a scope up to 6x, barrel up to 16", one small bag, and no bipod. Everything over this is considered DMR. Scoring is conducted in the "time plus penalties" format. Calibers are not restricted, but the most popular is 5.56. Large frame AR calibers are allowed as well. Prior to this event Thursday May 5th the 600yd range will be shut down to set up for this event but will be reopenen on Friday May 6th.
